what's a sketch pump
oh wait, sketch dump, the "pump" part was on purpose
Gotta say, I love the proportions! They're very well handled and thoughtfully constructed and compliment the expressions well! Speaking of expressions, I love them especially in this piece. Your art has a unique ability to express personality through expressions alone, and I think this is the best example of that mentality. I'm a sucker for creative expressions, and these are Iike those and then some. The colors(for Skarlath and the background especially) are just wonderful. The warm and cool colors respectively fit so well with one another and make the drawing feel like it came straight out of a Sonic Archie comic. The way you shade is also wonderful; you should teach me sometime! If I had to give a complaint, I'd say the painting-esque doesn't fit the best with the line art drawn characters, but that's just a nitpick at the end of the day.
I'd love to see these two in a comic one day! They definitely got the design chops to pull it off.
Fantastic work as always. 5 stars!
Thanks for this beautiful review!
You'd like to learn how I shaded this artwork? It's just a basic cel shade...
I used this video here as a bit of a learning material:

You'd like to see these two in a comic some day? If you want to read about them then there's no need for you to wait:
They are characters from Brian Jacques' Redwall Novel "The Outcast of Redwall."
If you like adventure stories and fables, then the Redwall Novels are for you.

I don't know what I'd do, without you!
Yo this is awesome! Is that dithering I see? I could only imagine how many layers and hours this took.
O ye, I let my autism take over with this one
This drawing is fantastic! The anatomys great, the colors fit accordingly, the shading is very well placed and compliments the color perfectly. If I had to nitpick, then I say the background could be a bit busier and more fitting, and some of the anatomy isn't the best, but overall, this drawing is awesome. You have a very good reason to be proud of this art.

But in all seriousness I'm jealous of how well you modeled the face. It's always hell for me to model the face in a drawing, especially if the pose is more complex
Bro, I think the eyes came out terribly, to be honest. XD
I didn't really need to use the layout anyway. It was just a shot in the wind, and I guess it hit something.
Using this model whenever you draw can help you, actually.
It shows you where you could put the eyes so that they are even, and also locates the perfect spot for the nose and mouth.
But thank you for the kind words. They are the reason I still draw. :3
You ok, dude? You seem a little bummed.
Yeah, I'm okay. I'm just being a little silly lol
Why the hell does this remind me of Inside Job
Well, I do draw in a very cartoony style and it's about a job I currently work at, so that might be it? Probably the vibe or something, idk I never got around to watching that show lol
